Dr Wojt Janowski
MBChB FRCPA FRACP
Dr Wojt Janowski is a dual-trained clinical and laboratory haematologist with a strong focus on haematological malignancies, particularly myeloma, AL amyloidosis, and other plasma cell disorders.
An experienced clinical researcher, he has served as an investigator on over 40 clinical trials in myeloma and CLL. He leads the myeloma clinical trials program at Calvary Mater Newcastle, where he is a Senior Staff Specialist, and currently serves as Director of Health Research and Translation.
Dr Janowski sits on the Scientific Advisory Group of Myeloma Australia and the Steering Committee of the Australasian Myeloma Research Consortium, contributing to national strategy and research direction in myeloma.
He holds admitting rights at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital, and also treats day patients at Maitland Private Hospital and Forster Private Hospital. When clinically appropriate, he offers treatment at home via the chemo@home service.
