Consultations

Our haematologists are available to provide consultations on a range of adult haematological issues, including:

• Leukaemia (acute and chronic)
• Lymphoma
• Myeloma, amyloid, and other plasma cell disorders
• Myeloproliferative neoplasms (essential thrombocytosis, polycythemia vera, and myelofibrosis)
• Aplastic anaemia
• Venous thromboembolism (DVT - deep vein thrombosis and PE - pulmonary embolism)
• Haemochromatosis
• and other haematological conditions

All of our haematologists are accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), and most are licensed as laboratory haematologists with Royal College of Pathologists Australasia (RCPA).

We can provide treatments at both public and private hospitals throughout the Hunter Region, and in appropriate scenarios, you may be able to receive treatment in your own home.

Please note we do not provide consultations or treatment for people under the age of 16.
