Dr Claudia Boshier

Dr Claudia Boshier is a Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist, interested in all aspects of Haematology particularly thrombotic conditions, antiphospholipid syndrome and myeloproliferative disorders. She is also happy to see patients with malignant and premalignant conditions and any other haematological concerns.

Claudia trained in the UK and is from the South of England. She went to school in the West of the country, obtained her medical degree in the North and trained as a Haematologist in the East. She therefore decided she had seen all of England and set her sights on Australia!

She was a well regarded Haematology Consultant in North East London for 5 years and started working in Newcastle, NSW in March 2024.

Claudia also works at Calvary Mater Hospital and is heavily involved in clinical trials for a wide range of diseases.

Claudia likes to encourage open, two-way conversations when explaining a diagnosis and management plan and is happy to answer a list of questions!
